Kendu Adventist School of Medical Sciences is a mid level medical training college established in 1948 by the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Kendu Adventist School of Medical Sciences is a mid-level college offering medical courses at Diploma level in Kenya’s Homabay County. The institution is managed by the Seventh Day Adventist Church’s West Kenya Union Conference and directly by Kendu Adventist Hospital.
Courses Offered at Kendu Adventist School of Medical Sciences
Currently the school offers:
1. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
2.Diploma in Community Health Nursing regulated by the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya and the Nursing council of Kenya respectively.
The college has trained thousands of healthcare professional since its inception in 1948 and currently has a student population of about 350 students, 200 pre-service nursing students, 50 in-service nursing students and 100 clinical medicine students.
The college admits students in March and in September but we accept applications through out the year. letters of admission are only issued to those who are successful at the interviews held before each admission.
